Japan
Japan, an island nation in East Asia, is known for its unique blend of traditional and modern culture, as well as its significant global influence.
Geographically, Japan consists of four major islands—Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku—along with thousands of smaller islands. The country's landscape is dominated by mountains, with nearly 75% of its terrain being mountainous. The most famous peak is Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan. The nation experiences a wide range of climates, from the snow-covered winters in Hokkaido to the subtropical climate in Okinawa.
Tourism plays a vital role in Japan’s economy, drawing millions of visitors annually. Japan's rich cultural heritage is evident in cities like Kyoto, with its ancient temples, and Nara, home to the Great Buddha statue. Tokyo, the capital, offers a striking contrast with its ultra-modern skyscrapers, bustling streets, and cutting-edge technology. Visitors also flock to Japan for its cherry blossom season, a time when the country’s parks and gardens are adorned with beautiful pink flowers. Additionally, Japan is famous for its traditional experiences such as tea ceremonies, hot spring baths (onsen), and sumo wrestling.
